At the core of Kenana Knitters are the women.
We aim to provide fair, sustainable and flexible employment for over 300 women in the community.
We empower women to take charge of their lives through fair wages and accessible work to the ladies in rural Kenya
Our Products are made from beautiful local, organic, natural fibers, supporting our local farmers. We are able to produce, unique, sustainable and ethical goods. We use both AZO free dyes and natural plant dyes from plants grown in the area which add vibrant and colourful depth to designs.
Beyond a sustainable income we are committed to improving the ladies lives through providing social support through health and wellbeing clinics, adult literacy and more... our ladies work with flexible terms and are able to bring children up to school age to the workshop where they are cared for
